We chose these ministers to serve us, fulfill our requirements and develop our land, not to fulfill their self centric wishes/dreams.It’s not just statues erected but it’s the grave of our hard earned money that we pay in form off taxes.Wish, someone could actually STATUE Mayawati from ercting these statues…….

q,q,says:This is one of the worst case of criminal wastage of public money for the narrow minded political objectives by an arrogant politician in this country.No politician of this type belonging to any political party should be allowed to stretch this far.People of UP should give fitting reply by not only defeating her but also reducing her to third or fourth position both in terms of votes and in the terms of seats. This is not the first time public money is being wasted by the politicians for some narrow minded political objectives.But this magnitude of wastage is unacceptable and higly condemnable.Building the statues of leaders is not a new issue in this country.But there are limits for everything.There is nothing wrong in building ambedkar museum and few statues of him in some places of the city.She could even build one or two statues of her party founder kanshiram as a tribute for his achievement.But using hundreds of crores of public money to build elephants and her own statues in public places is one of the criminal wastage of money in a state where 50% of the people are still illiterate and the state stands below the national average. She could build any number of her statues and party symbols in private places using her own money or even her party money.But she has no right to use the public money to build her own statues and party symbols in the public places that too in hundreds at one go.PIL should immediately be filed to recover the wasted public money from her.She should be directed to repay all the money spent on building her own statues and elephants to the state exchequer either from her own account or from her party account by the High court of UP.The Court should also direct the demolition of elephant structures immediately.She has already lost the moral authority to stay in the power. Had she spent this crores to rural health care and education the result would have been impressive.It would have helped the millions of poor people to fulfill their needs.But she has thrown hundreds of crores of rupees public money into water.She didn’t understand the fact that building statues wouldn’t solve any real iuues and it wouldn’t help the party as well.She has indeed gone mad as far as these statue building issues are concerned.It needs to put a break as quick as possible. She thinks that she can lift the dalits by having the statues of her own and party symbol in each and every corner of the state.She is trying to project her as an icon of dalit empowerment in an autocratic manner. This would help only to fill the pockets of few contractors and some vested interests using public money. She should ask herself how many living leaders statues are built in public places in this country by the govt.Leaders who have really made changes through hard work have always been respected and revered by the people even without the statues.None of them had ever asked us to build the statues. What can she do if the new adminstration issues order to demolish all the statues.How can she defend that these statues should not be destroyed.On what basis of importance she can defend her position.More than 70% of the People of UP have not supported her eventhough she is the chief minister of the state.She can even be politically destroyed by the very same people mandate if she keep on misusing the people’s mandate to bring autocracy in a democracy of this big size. Lack of accountability,corruption and poor administration are the major reasons for the wastage of thousands of crores of public money every year by the politicians in this country.Most of this money either go to political parties and politicians or to some vested interests pockets.Criminals and frauds often succeeds here because they are the people who really executes these orders.As long as these intermediaries remain as the strong pillars to the corrupt politicians this system will get rottened further and further.
